3 weeks in :)

Hello Everyone! My skype has not been really working lately so I am glad that I can still keep in touch with everyone this way! In the past few days I have started my trend forecasting class and ended my fashion styling class. I have gone to one of the largest cemetaries in Paris and seen Oscar Wildes, and Jim Morrisons graves. I also ventured out one day to the Luxembourg gardens which were so beautiful and also very recreational. I was so suprised to see that they had a side of the complex for basketball and tennis as well as a playground! The fete de la musique was the other day, this is a city wide music festival and there was literally a band on every street corner! It was so fun to go walk around the city and dance with all of the parisians! It was a little hard to sleep that night though because the festical goes until 4 in the morning! Yesterday we went up to Northern France to visit Giverny. This is an adorable little town where Claude Monet lived and painted many of his famous works including Water Lilies. The house was so quaint and the gardens and ponds were breath taking! I couldnt believe I was seeing the lake that water liles was painted after. We had lunch at the cutest little hotel in Giverny. We sat outside on this patio that was surrounded by rolling hills of grass and flowers. It was almost too good to be true! Today we went on a bike ride around Paris, every corner here has these bikes that you can rent for the day, so today we did our sight seeing a velo! We biked all the way to the Eiffel Tower from the Bastille! It was so beautiful and sunny out and we just rode along the Seine the whole way there. We passed Notre Dame, the Louve, and many other monuments and tourist attrations! On the way back we saw a photoshoot for a fashion magazine and stopped by the Tuliries Park and got an ice cream cone and them sun tanned on the grass out in front of the Louvre! It was am amazing Sunday in Paris, probably one of the best of my life! Tonight we were invited to this secret dinner. They have these in Paris and you have to stumble upon an email address somewhere in the city, email to see when the next dinner is and if there is room for your party and then call the day of to get the address. It is funny to because they will say things like the dinner will only happen if it doesnt rain that day or only if you call after a certain time. I heard that famous and important people also go to these but you never know who you are going to meet! A Vanity Fair photographer came to a recent one and did a story on all the guests there! So that is tonight and Ill let you know how it goes asap!
