It doesn't get dark until 10 p.m. in Paris!

Well hello there! I have had a fabulous first week in Paris! I could definetly get used to this :) In the past few days I have not stopped! Whether I am in class, doing homework, or traveling and sight seeing! It has been really amazing but I am so glad to have this Sat. to relax, go on a jog, walk to the bakery and get a pan chocolate, and catch up on homework. In the past few days I have done two different photoshoots for class. The first was on making a garment from paper and styling the shoot, and for the second one we had to deconstruct a garment and create something new from it. I got a dress from a vintage shop here in Paris and combined it with a dress that I brought from home. It turned out really cool. The theme of my photoshoot was Victorian and the story was about a little girl who was forced to dress in fancy clothing that  was uncomfortable. She was forced to be proper when all she wanted to do was play and be a kid. So a lot of my pictures will reflect that narrative.
As a class we went to La Defense which is a business district of Paris that has amazing buildings that are so vast. There is also a five story shopping mall underground! It was overwhelming. I also went to the Musee du Quai Branly which was full of old ancient artifacts. We went here to get inspired for our next assignment which is a Tribal shoot. After the museum we walked over to the Eiffel Tower for the first time! It was freezing but I loved every moment of it! As we were leaving we were stopped by this huge bike tour that was passing through. I thought it would be fun to cheer them on. No one else was so I got some weird looks at first but then people started joining it and it was a blast! I even got some of them to yell back! When we got back me and all of y friends went out to dinner which was really nice. Tomorrow we will be going to the largest flea market in France and I was told not to bring a purse haha so we will see how that goes! Monday is a national holiday in France so I wont have class which will be nice becasue I have to do my tribal shoot that day! I will be sure to put pictures up once Im done with it! Thanks to everyone who is following, I really appriciate all of your love, prayers, and support!
