Yesterday I experienced what I came to Paris for! The day started off amazing, I got to sleep in and go for a jog on this gorgeous running path. Then I went with some friends to the bakery and had my first ever pan chocolate! It was amazing! After that I had some time to get homework and research done and even take a nap. But then I got tired of being in my room and I decided to look at the list of weekend activites that my tour guide gave me and I jumped on a metro and headed to Champs Elysees! It was so fun to walk down the streets lined with shops and tourists. I also got to see the Arc de Triunphe! I watched the traffic for a little while too and I am so surprised that I didnt see an acident because that round a bout is insane! Then I walked down the other side of the street and even went into the car galleries they had there. When I reached the end I thought I was done until I realized that right off the main street in a street called Montaigne and that is actually the reason this was on the weekend list. I walked down this street and was amazed at what I almost missed. It was a full line of the highest couture shops! I had never seen so many designer stores all in one place! I walked down the street taking pictures of the window displays and taking notes on the fashions I was seeing. Then I got to Versace my favorite designer and I couldn't help but go in! I tried to act very interested in buying something haha, the door man opened the door for me and greeted me with a Bonsoir, and then I had my own personal assistant follow me around the store. It was so luxerious and incredible. I also went into Valentino where I found a dress that I couldnt stop staring at and when I moved it to see how much it was I almost audibly gasped. It was a 9,000 Euro dress which is pretty much $18,000 US. I felt like I owed them hundreds just for touching it! then I contunued down the street into Prada, and Dior. I spoke to a sale woman in Dior about why I was in Paris and I told her I was studying fashion and wanted to be a designer and stylist. Then she promptly asked me how many lines I had designed back in the states, like it was a requirement. I was so happy that I had an answer for her, she seemed to take me more seriously when I told her that I had debuted two of my own lines in the past two years. She told me that I was in the right place to accomplish my goals and that I need to visit Madrid. I really hope to see my own name on this street in the future. After a flawless visit to Champs Elysees and Montaigne St. I got back on the metro and headed home :)
The Louis Vuitton On the Champs Elysees. It was so crowded there was a line around the block. The thing that these tourists didn't know was that there was another one just around the corner without a line :)

This is the new Abercrombie and Finch on the Champs Elysees, it is a very controversial move at the moment, some people dont think it belongs on such a historic street. They made it fit in though, it looks like a castle, there is a gate and large hedges so you cant see in. There are two male models at the gate where you find the hour long line and you have to be escorted down a pathway just to get inside.
